Watch Parts

These are the main parts that will need to be chosen for the watch. Use the drop downs below to understand what the parts are, and use the links for examples of specific parts.

  • This is the heart of the watch. All the main features of the watch are based on the type of movement.

    The main types of movements are Quartz (powered by a battery) and Mechanical (powered by winding). Some mechanical movement can also have an automatic rotor that winds the watch was you move through the day.

    All special complications such as dates, extra hands, and day/night wheels all come from the movement.

  • The dial is the face of the watch. The dial can be in multiple colors and have different types of numbers or markers.

    The size of the dial will also be based on the size of the case.

  • The type of hands will be based on the type of movement. There are many different styles of hands that can come in multiple different colors.

  • The case can be multiple sizes based on how large the watch is and can be made of different types of metals (Steel, Titanium, Bronze)

  • The band can be a few different materials:

    Metal Bands - Milanese, Oyster, Jubilee

    Leather - Full Grain, Top Grain, Genuine, Alligator, Exotic

    Silicone (Rubber)
